This blog discusses the issue of violence affecting women across the globe. Women have made incredible achievements over the past 100 years and yet our bodies remain under attack. Women from the United States, Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia continue to be raped, beaten and kept prisoner by a patriarchal power structure. It is time that we, as women of the world, reclaim our bodies and fight to empower those who have been bound by the chains of violence.
